Tutoring services to fit each student’s individualized needs.
We use a Montessori curriculum that is carefully chosen to meet the student where they are to help them grow and gain skills they need. We can help students who need specific help in the following areas:

Phonics and Reading
Letters and their sounds are introduced using multi-sensory activities while solidifying the knowledge of sounds. We use Waseca Reading and Spelling System which is an evidence based Montessori program that was designed with students who have dyslexia and learning differences in mind. Reading comprehension is developed using an Orton-Gillingham Approach to show students how to decode and build fluency.
Writing is developed using Montessori parts of speech and sentence analysis materials for students to visually analyze their writing for better clarity and understanding.
Numeracy and Mathematics
Number knowledge is built with a concrete foundation of quantity and working towards abstraction of mathematical concepts. We use the hands on mathematical materials designed by Maria Montessori to give students the how and why of all the mathematical operations and their interactions. From counting to the foundations of algebra students see and do the physical actions of mathematics to aid their understanding at the core.
